Happy Birthday Aries the Ram! March 20th - April 19th, the Almighty Sun, the Giver of Life, enters your sign marking the Spring Equinox! Spring is when the Earth comes to life again, flowers are blooming, it’s getting warmer, grass is growing and a birth makes for you, Aries, to be the first sign of the Zodiac!
I will start with your Ruler of course! Mars, the God of War, the Planet of Action, is in Gemini all month and this sets the stage for your year ahead to be very active in communications. Communications means many things and you may be focusing on two types of communication this whole year ahead until your next birthday (see below for all types). Now Aries, one thing I will say to watch for is communicating aggressively, combatively or argumentatively. You could be arguing with your siblings or neighbors. Don’t drive aggressively, you could do some damage and it’s not worth it. Keep these things in mind all year. How to make this communicative energy work for you is to learn, read, write, join a speaking group like toastmasters, sing (even if it isn’t your thing as it will open your throat chakra), talk to yourself at home or in the car, say positive mantras. If you’ve been wanting to make videos, be on TV or do some sort of broadcasting, this is the year to do it, just start! Journal all of your ideas, thoughts, things you want to say or release. Include your children, if you have them, in storytelling, acting, singing, playing fun mental games. If your work includes web pages, internet, blogging, become more involved in these areas even if it is just including a quote from yourself about the product or service. Or you may be involved in a competition that involves words, communications, debates, etc. You do love competition Aries, make sure it’s healthy and done so with good intentions. If you are looking for the win, it may be better to use your communications in ways like publishing your book, making a presentation, speaking to an audience about your project, or joining a spelling bee. You can research competitions online that involve words, choice of words, etc. You could also pick up speed reading.
Communications include speaking, writing, reading, TV, broadcasting, email, internet, non-verbal, texting, blogging, videos, web sites, singing, acting, how you think, mental activities, whistleblowing, ideas, figuring things out, analyses, choice of words, reason, gossip, storytelling, lying, conning, learning, journals, books, etc.
Let’s move to Venus, the Planet of Love and Pleasure. Lucky you Aries, you are hosting Venus during your birthday month and this year will be about self love, looking your best, doing self care things you may not have not done before on a regular basis like getting a manicure/pedicure, coloring your hair, shopping for clothes, jewelry, art, taking more baths or going to the spa, etc. You may be hanging out with the VIP’s more often. You really can express your love more this year as well. If you used the past month to clear out, let go, heal, you can really express your love in a new way that you didn’t think you would. Especially since Mercury will also be in your sign this month (more on that later) and since you will be actively communicating too. Learn to speak with grace, you will get a lot farther in life when you do. Speak thoughtfully of others, politely, pleasantly, diplomatically. You will be expressing your affection in the way you want to, you will be desirable to others, what kind of sex appeal you possess will be noticed, what kind of lovers you attract, how you relate to a potential partner will all be a theme for you this year Aries. You may teach a workout class, you love to lead, push people in their fitness, and with Mercury here, you can talk all about taking that workout to the limit!!
Now we move to Mercury, the Messenger God, the Planet of Communications. You are also hosting him this month and with your Ruler, Mars, in the sign he rules, we’ve got a great combination! As mentioned earlier, you’ve got drive, passion and ambition and sometimes this is communicated aggressively, forcefully and combatively by you Aries. And, of course, how are you to be another way when you are Ruled by the God of War! Well, when at War, we understand. Fortunately, in our times we don’t experience war all the time, so how will you effectively use this energy to come across powerfully, respectfully and knowledgeable? You enjoy arguing, find a partner/friend that you can debate with in a constructive way, that’s challenging and opens your mind. Learn what you want to learn and read, write your book, come up with a speech for something you're inventing, present something you have a major part in for your company, go on a short trip somewhere that has a sporting event you are attending or are playing in, get involved in something you can use your intellectual might such as a competition. As stated before a spelling bee or something that has to do with being a wordsmith. It is also a good time to analyze how you think. Do you think positively or negatively the majority of your waking hours? Are your thoughts healthy? What occupies much of your thoughts in your free time? Are your thoughts efficient while at work? Are you wasting time thinking of something that no longer serves you? Is there something that you are thinking of a lot that needs to be addressed? Do you meditate or need to? It’s a great time to journal these things. There are guided journals also available to help you think about things to be grateful for, what are the top priorities you want to get done that day, who you need to reach out to, etc.
Saturn wants you to get involved in a group with your career, he wants you to be socially aware and do things at your work that involve humanitarian efforts, he also wants you to be innovative and invent something that will propel us into the future using science and technology.
Jupiter wants you to expand, think big picture, philosophize and be optimistic with this group effort in social awareness and humanitarianism.
Uranus wants you to get out of your comfort zone and do things differently when it comes to the things you buy, what resources and tools you have and how you build things. He wants you to intellectualize your values, ethics, morals and how they have an effect on the future, how they have an effect on groups of people and if you are part of an institution, how they align with their mission.
Neptune wants you to let go of that which no longer serves you and heal. She wants you to use your imagination, be free, be unconditional, use illusions, mystery, dreamworlds to create. She wants you to know the spirit world is all around us, tap into your intuition, go into solitude, question reality. You may be involved in an institution, you may get hypnotherapy, go to a psychologist, become involved in a religion, learn about your dreams, see a tarot card reader or psychic. Do you have any addictions, are you taking medication that isn’t working for you, is there fraud, deception or conning in your life, are you hanging out with a group that doesn’t match your beliefs? How can you heal through letting these things go?
Pluto is transforming your career and last year really showed you how she is doing this. Transformation is a complete destruction of a way and a complete creation of it. This transformation has to do with your career, but it can also have to with your status, your honors, awards and achievements as well as with your reputation and public image. There can be a transformation with an authority figure or how you take authority in your career and reputation. This is with something that is long term, it can have to do with an older person that has masculine energy. The transformation can have to do with your father.
