Libra Horoscope October 2021
Dear Libra, the Scales, All Eyes on You!!!! Not only does the Earth continue its travel through Libra providing for your Birthday, you get your Birthday New Moon, Mercury is spending over 8 weeks in your sign and now in retrograde, and the Sun and Mars are traveling side by side in your sign as well! Two big heavy planets go direct in addition to Mercury this month, Saturn and Jupiter. Let’s Follow the Planets…
First, your Ruler, Venus, The Planet of Love, has your heart set on how you make your earned money. She wants you to find a way of earning money that you love to do. She wants you to enjoy going to work, enjoy your co-workers, cooperate with a team, be diplomatic at work and if it’s a beautiful place to go, even better! She’s been having you focus on this area and will want to make any changes you can before October 7th. Setting up this cooperative environment will help you as how you earn money will continue to be the focus through the end of November when more action will take place.
October 7th - November 4th - Now your focus shifts to communications of all types as Venus is traveling through this area. Expansion, thinking big picture and philosophizing what you love and what you’ll spend money on. You may be thinking about traveling to a faraway land with another culture. Communications include speaking, writing, reading, thinking, TV, broadcasting, email, internet, non-verbal, journals, books, listening, texting, blogging, media, websites, how you think, mental activities, ideas, figuring things out, analyses, choice of words, reason, learning, contracts, videos, photography, paintings, artwork, singing, acting, storytelling, gossiping, lying, conning, etc.
Speak with love, kindness, and cooperation Libra. Put love into your writing, journaling, choice of words. You do this just fine with this Libra, so find new ways of communicating as Venus is just setting this up for more attention from Mercury, Mars and the Sun to continue this focus on communications of some type.
Until October 18th - Mercury is Retrograde in your sign Libra, wanting you to review...yourself! Go within and think about your direction, your mission, what motivates you, your purpose, how you present yourself, the clothes you wear, what the things are you identify with, how you approach a situation and your attitude. What isn’t working for you anymore? Do you need to take a new direction? You receive a new moon while Mercury is retrograde, so let’s follow this energy next…
October 6th - New Moon in Libra at 13 Degrees - So while you’re thinking of a new you, using this new moon energy is good to go back to something about you, that worked for you, and do it again. Was there a way you presented yourself that worked, was there something you used to really like that got put wayside, did you have a style that looked good on you? Of course things evolve, but you could make updates. Mars is right there with this new moon, so you could go back to a sport or way of working out that you used to really identify with. You may have played on a team before, now look for a weekend pick up game or join a league. With Mercury retrograde, it’s a great time to call up some people you used to play with before or join a team with a favorite player from the past.
With All Eyes on You, this is about what you want for you, all month long. You are the ruler of partnerships Libra, sometimes you need to focus your attention on yourself, that time is now! You are the master balancer, seeing all sides of an issue. This makes it difficult to make a decision, that is one thing you don’t do so often. This month, with all these planets, Mercury, the Sun, Mars and the big rock the Moon all traveling through your sign, go within, think about what you want for you, which direction you want to go in, what are the things you identify with. After Mercury goes direct and up to speed by the 25th, use what you’ve learned to move forward, sign contracts and make decisions to progress in the way you want to.
October 11th - Saturn turns direct at 6 Degrees Aquarius - Giving us Earthlings a final chance to learn something. He moves slowly giving you ample opportunity for this tough learning lesson. You’ll have until around January 19th to move on as he will enter untouched degrees at this point of time and space. You’ve got an interesting mix of energies here Libra. Saturn is about limitations, setting boundaries and having structure. Aquarius is about no boundaries, pushing change and doing things differently. These two energies can be conflicting, however the stability Saturn provides for advancement needs to be used for ways of technology and innovation to be effective. This is all happening in the area of something you’re creating Libra. How exciting!!! You could be involved in self-employment and being an entrepreneur. This is a fun house!!! It involves entertainment, play and passionate activities. It’s also about true love, sex and romance. Things will be picking up in these areas through the end of the year and into next.
October 18th - Jupiter turns direct at 22 Degrees Aquarius - Giving you a last opportunity to expand in an area you’ve been trying to but have felt held back. Perhaps you needed to wait it out, it is all about timing. Jupiter wanted you to review this area, also of what you are creating, and now this is the final lesson to learn until January 12th when he enters new degrees in Pisces. Jupiter is about expansion, so while Saturn is in this same area, do both, have a structured agenda knowing your limits and boundaries and expand from there! Use this Jupiter, The Planet of Luck, energy through January to learn, expand, grow in knowledge, be optimistic and turn ideas into profit!
October 20th - Full Moon in Aries at 27 Degrees - There’s an ending here in a contractual partnership, and this is the area you rule. There may be some opposing viewpoints with this ending and a bit of a me vs. we tug of war. This could have to do with how you move your physical body, so with this ending, you could not be going into the office anymore. It could be an ending with a sports team or some physical effort. With Mercury just turning direct, communications are especially murky now. So really watch what you say and write, double check and check again. Also electronics act up now, it does mean they are broken, just let them play out in their wonky behavior for a few days, then they’ll go back to normal functioning.
