Dear Cancer the Crab, moving side to side and latching on with those claws. Mercury is retrograde in the area of home, the area you rule, so things are changing and shifting here. Mars and the Sun have entered the same area wanting you to take action with it, but careful, communications of all types could get misconstrued. A strong new moon in this same area is urging you to begin a new start, be careful with those contracts dear Cancer. Let’s Follow the Planets…
Your focus this month is everything home related Cancer, and you love this! There will be some back and forth with communications as Mercury is retrograde here until the 18th. Everything here is showing you are looking for a new home, you are active in renovating a home or that you are engaging with your family even more and that includes bringing in a baby to the home too. If you are moving, careful with new contracts, the wording may not be what you planned or understood in the first place. If you need a lawyer to look at the contract, do so. If you are hiring a contractor to renovate your home, same thing, communications can get mixed up. If you’ve been looking for a new home and you’ve found it during this time, move forward, but read the fine print. If you’re continuing with a contractor on your home, keep moving ahead. If you were to start renovations during retrograde, it’s best to go with a previous contractor you worked with in the past or research them, ask around, look at their projects online, even do more research with their code of conduct or the better business bureau. Home life and security is very important to you Cancer, you want to make sure everything feels right. You are guided by feelings and this is important to pay attention to as well. If the changes you’re making are long term, like if you’re buying a new house, you need to make sure everything has been researched. From how you drive to work, to where you’ll shop for groceries, to where the entertainment is located that you’ll enjoy going to, also walking around the new neighborhood to see what people are like, is it a loud neighborhood or is it quiet, is it near a busy street, you get my drift.
You could be more active with your family as well. Perhaps having more dinners together, doing projects around the house together, having them over to go to the park nearby, these types of things are important. I wouldn’t bring up any touchy conversations at this time as they could get out of hand and things said will not come out as intended. It’s better to go within to think about any family issues. Figure them out and then wait until after around the 25th to bring them up and clear them out so you can have harmony.
Security in and around the home is very important for you as well Cancer. So if you need to put cameras up, motion detector lights or put some apps on your phone that provide security, do some research on them. After Mercury turns direct, then buy them and put them up, you’ll feel better.
October 6th - New Moon in Libra at 13 Degrees - Now here’s the New Moon, marking a new beginning in your home life. Mercury is retrograde, so if you’ve been looking for a home for some time now, move forward. Just really make sure communications are clear and read the fine print. If you need to have a lawyer look over any contracts before you sign them, do so, you’ll feel more secure. It’s not the time to just start looking for a new home, hire a new contractor, move furniture around or decorate in a whole new way. Things won’t come out as expected. Instead, take action in home related projects that got off to the side. If you started cleaning out your garage, continue. If there was a cooking class you always wanted to take and is available again, sign up. If you were in the middle of decorating and things got put off, continue. Taking action in things around the home from before is good to do now. This is a lot about balance here, so keep that in mind. Perhaps your office space is double the size of your spouses, figure out how to make them equal. If chores around the home are always done by one person and not the others, that needs to change. It’s about fairness, equality and sharing around the home.
October 11th - Saturn turns direct at 6 Degrees Aquarius - Giving us Earthlings a final chance to learn something. He moves slowly giving you ample opportunity for this tough learning lesson. You’ll have until around January 19th to move on as he will enter untouched degrees at this point of time and space. This is about limitations, boundaries and structure when it comes to your future with your spouses assets and debts. This has to do with shared resources like mortgages, loans, inheritance, retirement and lump sums of money you each mutually put into each other's development for the future together. You could use technology to help advance you in some way. It is about having a structure and knowing your boundaries with large sums of money.
October 18th - Jupiter turns direct at 22 Degrees Aquarius - Giving you a last opportunity to expand in an area you’ve been trying to but have felt held back. Perhaps you needed to wait it out, it is all about timing. Jupiter wanted you to review this area of shared resources and now this is the final lesson to learn until January 12th when he enters new degrees in Pisces. Jupiter is in this same area of lump sums of money that you share with your partner and with his motion forward, he wants you to expand on this. That can work either way. You could be signing up for a large loan. Or you could be investing money in stocks and your retirement. These planets seem to be working with what you have in store this month with your home life.
October 20th - Full Moon in Aries at 27 Degrees - Something is coming to an end in your career. This could be related to the move you’re making where you are leaving one job to start another. It has to do with how you move around physically as well. So you may be ending a desk job and starting a car job, where you’re driving much more often. Something different in how you move around each day within your daily work is taking place. The ending has to do with your career, your social status, your status in the community and how you gain recognition at work.
